Quick Breads
One of baking’s simplest creations: the quick bread. They come together easily, bake in a pan, and lend well to transport. In this category, you’ll find all my classics like classic banana bread, chocolate chip zucchini bread, and chocolate chip pumpkin bread, but also some fun ones like s’mores quick bread, funfetti quick bread, oatmeal chocolate chip lactation bread, and herbed tomato quick bread.
WHAT ARE QUICK BREADS?
Quick breads encompass any bread that uses baking powder and/or baking soda instead of yeast to help it rise. Using powdered leaveners as opposed to yeast means these breads to not need to rise outside of the oven before baking, making them a quick alternative to yeasted breads.
