Homemade Honey Roasted Almond Butter

Making almond butter at home is much easier than you think. Never spend $11 on a jar again!
Servings: 1 pound


  • 1 pound almonds
  • OPTIONAL: 2 ounces honey roasted peanuts OR 2 to 2 and 1/2 teaspoons honey


  • Pour almonds and peanuts (if using) into food processor. 
  • Process until the nuts go from coarse, to fine, to crumbly, to a ball. If using honey, add at any point after the almonds are broken down.
  • Stop and scrape down the sides between stages as necessary. Continue to process until the almonds reach the consistency you like. Store almond butter at room temperature.


You may certainly omit any added honey flavor. The process will still be the same.
