Healthy Apple Pie Smoothie
Made with good-for-you ingredients but tastes just like apple pie. Naturally sweetened and gluten free!
I used Macintosh, cored and sliced
unsweetened almond milk
I used plain, but you can use vanilla if you prefer; any fat content
cubes of ice
Add all of the ingredients, except the honey, to a strong blender.
is the one we have. Blend until it reaches the consistency you prefer.
Taste the smoothie and add honey, if you desire a sweeter smoothie.
Pour into a large glass or two small glasses and sprinkle with extra oats and/or cinnamon, if desired. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator, covered, up to 2 days.
