10ounces(283g) white candy meltsor coarsely chopped white chocolate1
¾cup(168g) Valentine’s Day m&m’s
2 to 3Tablespoonsfestive sprinkles2
1cupValentine's Day Nerds gummy clusters3
1cupgummy hearts2I used Swedish Fish brand
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat and set aside.
Pour the Chex, Cheerios, and pretzels into a large bowl and toss to mix together. Set aside.
3 cups (90g) Rice Chex cereal, 2 cups (52g) Cheerios, 1 cup (224g) itty bitty or mini pretzels
Place the white candy melts into a medium-size heat-proof bowl. Heat in the microwave in 20-30 second increments, stopping to stir thoroughly after every time in the microwave until melted and smooth. You can also do this in a small saucepan over medium heat on the stove or in a double-boiler.
10 ounces (283g) white candy melts
Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the cereal/snack mix and stir gently with a large spatula until everything is evenly coated.
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the m&m's and Valentine's Day sprinkles evenly onto the cereal/chocolate mixture while the white chocolate is still wet so that everything can stick. Let sit until set, about 1 hour.
¾ cup (168g) Valentine’s Day m&m’s, 2 to 3 Tablespoons festive sprinkles2
Once the chocolate has set, break into chunks by hand and toss in the gummy candies. I also like to add some additional "naked" pretzels. Store snack mix in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
1 cup Valentine's Day Nerds gummy clusters3, 1 cup gummy hearts2
Notes
White chocolate: feel free to use another flavor of chocolate if you prefer.
Festive sprinkles: I used a combination of nonpareils and heart shaped quins for a fun mix of shapes and textures.
Gummy candy: if you don't like or can't find these specific candies, you can choose any gummy candy you like. I like having something sweet as well as a little bit sour, but adjust accordingly based on your taste preferences.
