Add the mini marshmallows and stir to distribute evenly. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator at least 8 hours. Stir again before serving. Store in a covered or sealed container in the refrigerator up to 5 days.

Notes
Drain the oranges: I prefer mandarin oranges in pear juice as opposed to any sort of syrup or artificial sweetener to keep the added sugars low.
Sour cream: you'll find the creamiest texture with full fat sour cream, but I have also made this dish with Greek and/or regular yogurt, too.
