Hi, Anna– I will agree with you that there is a typo in my recipe, which I fixed (thank you!)– the sugar should have been 400g, not 200g. And a quarter cup of cocoa powder IS correctly 20g.

Okay…I always use weighted measures when baking. That’s the difference between good and great bakers. That being said, there are a couple of flaws in the recipe. 2 cups of sugar is 450 g, not 2oo. And 1/4 cup of cocoa powder is 25 g.
I haven’t tried it yet because it just went into the oven, but I know it’s going to be great! Oh, I used espresso instead of plain coffee. It really enriches the chocolate flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe is delicious! It was easy enough to make with my kids, and they loved it! We halved the recipe, and it was perfect! The cake is so light and fluffy, and the icing is to die for- resembling fudge!

Super chocolatey, moist, and contains coffee? You’ve managed to make my most hated dessert! 😉 Tucking this one away for future potlucks and parties though, for sure — I definitely accept that I am the odd one out when it comes to my dessert preferences!
