Hi, Kai– it sounds like you may not have put any sugar in the cookies. I know this cookie works well, because I’ve made it many times before. I’m not sure what to tell you if I wasn’t there with you making them!

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who had the cookies come out weird. I had a similar problem to you: I followed everything to the T and it came out raw, dry, and not very sweet. I hope it worked put for you, if you used the recipe again.

I love this recipe! But can I used granulated sugar or other substitutes in stead of powdered sugar?

In reply to Coco Bliss. Hi, Coco-- not sure what went wrong. You can see it has a lot of positive reviews. If the cookies were too dry, my guess is something was measured incorrectly as this cookie is very soft and chewy AND plenty sweet. As far as the cinnamon, this is a standard ratio for snickerdoodle coating, so again, maybe something was measured wrong. Be sure you're using teaspoons and not Tablespoons.

I followed the recipe exactly and was very disappointed. They were very dry and didn’t have much sweetness. It was like the cinnamon challenge all over again. If there was something i missed please let me know.
