I have made a batch of these bars almost every week for the past 2 months. They are the perfect little bite when I want something sweet! The bars stay soft & chewy for days in a covered container. I made a batch for my daughter’s birthday party. We had some non-dairy diets so I left out the butterscotch chips & used allergen free chocolate chips for the topping. The breast feeding ladies that needed to be dairy free loved them! This is the perfect treat in our house since they stay soft way longer than cookies do. This was always one of my favorite treats growing up but when I made them, the bars got hard after a day or so. Your recipe does not. Thank you for a perfect recipe Lynn!!
