This was the most delicious pumpkin cake I have ever tasted. I made it exactly as the recipe is written and my made the maple glaze with bourbon maple syrup I just happened to have. Everyone who tried it loved it. The glaze was just perfect. Will absolutely make it again

This is an outstanding pumpkin cake! The spice level is perfect and the cake was so not dry (can’t bring myself to type the m word…) The maple icing was the perfect touch and all together was not too sweet. Thanks Lynn!

This recipe turned out awesome! Followed your recipe exactly …. right down to opting for the browned butter buttercream frosting. The cake turned out super moist and almost had a gingerbread taste to it. The icing took it over the top. Took it to a family function last night and everyone was enjoying, to the point of coming home with two slices left for us. 🙂 (so I’ll definitely have to make another one.)

I made this the other night and it was a hit with the whole family. I had to make it with whole wheat flour and it tasted amazing!!
So moist and flavourful!! I did have to cook it longer than recommended – can’t remember exactly how long.
