Jeff wanted something like this & searched your site because he knows your recipes always are delicious. He used a cast iron skillet instead of a baking dish. It worked great!! He just shortened the cooking time.

I had an abundance of pears due to being in a fruit-of-the-month club, so I decided to make this. So glad I did! Silly me ran out of brown sugar, so the batter had half brown sugar/half white sugar and the pears had all white sugar. No matter! It was still dynamite. Served with vanilla ice cream. Thank you for sharing!

Good recipe. The dough was too thick and I was wondering what I can do to resolve that problem next time ? Add more milk ? How much more ? And I’m going to use 5 cups pears next time. Thank You.
