This is the smallest cookie I have ever made. They are so good 🙂 I’m always scared to try new recipes on the internet but this is a hit!

Well, here’s the thing: first of all, I very clearly stated in the recipe card that it makes 32 mini cookies. So, it’s not actually a batch of 2 cookies. In fact, if you read the post, you’d see that this recipe is the same one I use for my small batch chocolate chip cookies, which makes 6-7 standard size cookies. So unless you use a #16 cookie scoop to make these cookies, you’ll wind up with more than 2.

Next, YOU are in control of what you do in your kitchen. If 32 mini cookies is not what you wanted, you could have tripled it on your own before starting.

Lastly, I removed your 1-star rating because I only leave ratings that actually rate the recipe/outcome/baked good itself, and this comment is really nothing more than a complaint about the yield that was, again, clearly stated.

I’m sorry but I just felt like I made a batch for 2 cookies. This batch was a waste of time. Why would I do all this for mini chocolate chip cookies?? If the recipe was at least tripled it would be worth it.

Cake like, didn’t melt and only made 14. Butter also separated. Bland. This is actually one of the worst cookie recipes I’ve followed.
