Probably best not to include cup measurements then for flour, because I likely wouldn’t have chose this recipe if it required a scale. Not everyone has all the gadgets. Just frustrating to waste ingredients. All good- I’ll try someone else’s recipe next time. 👍🏼 just wanted to warn others.

In reply to Aspen. Hi, Aspen-- it sounds like there wasn't enough moisture in the cookies. Did you weigh your flour? This is typically what happens when you don't measure flour by weight, which is why I make a note of it in the recipe card.

The dough seems very thick… they don’t look anything like the photo and didn’t spread at all?

Hi, Jody– I’ve not added chocolate chips to these cookies, but it should work in theory. My only worry is that with too many add-ins, the cookies won’t spread properly. I’d start with 1/4 cup of chips and see how that goes. Let me know if you try it!

I followed the recipe exactly as it’s written and loved it so much. The cookies were the perfect texture and the marshmallows truly made them so addicting! We will be making these every year for St. Patrick’s Day! Thank you for this lovely recipe.
