I made this cake and followed the recipe and it ended up a little too dense for the wedding cake I am wanting.
Do you think I would be OK to substitute and use cake flour instead of all-purpose flour?

I made this cake last weekend and it was HUGE hit!! I’m making it again as a birthday cake for a friend. I’m not a huge lemon person and i thought this was so delicious.

Hey, Suzy– you can put this recipe as is into a single 9×13 pan, or you can make it 2x and put it into two different 9×13 pans to make a single layer half sheet cake. Hope that helps!

We made this for Easter and it was so good! Great texture of the cake and the lemon curd was a nice change from just putting frosting between the layers. Thank you for the recipe and God bless!
