I found these cookies to be soft and cakey rather than soft and chewy, something closer those soft frosted sugar cookies.

I tried this recipe for friends at work who had asked me to make them strawberry cookies and they all said the cookies tasted like they came from a bakery.

I am getting demands for these cookies from everyone. I have made them about 10 times now. Brought them to a pot luck and the people fought over them. Can I made the dough a day ahead and refrigerate it until I can bake it?
