Hi, Nancy– this recipe is admittedly not up to my typical standards, and it needs a lot of work. The last 2 winter seasons, I’ve attempted to better this recipe a total of 6 times and am still unhappy with the results. And the problem is, I can only test this recipe during the winter season due to the availability of eggnog! That said, ironically enough, last night I was rearranging the refrigerator and discovered I still have some eggnog left from Christmas and was planning to retest it one more time this week. I’m hopeful I can get to the best version of this recipe because it is SO GOOD (the results, though not perfect, have still tasted delicious).

Thank you for trusting my recipes and having faith in me! When I do perfect it, I will be sure that you are alerted so you can make the perfected version! I apologize for it not working out this time.

I make your recipes very frequently. This particular recipe DID NOT FAIR well.. I made it because who doesn’t love a “quick bread” ? I love eggnog and thought this would be a hit. To no avail it came out quite DRY.. I followed it to the letter. Do you have any idea why this happened? Have a great 2025! And I look forward to future recipes.

I will add it to my hot coffee at home and my iced coffee at Starbucks. This sounds SO good. Loved the video with you and Joey, and am amazed that you could keep his attention long enough to make it. I might’ve lost my teenage stepdaughter while making it. 🙂 Will have to give this a try.
