I just made this recipe and peeled the chickpeas. The recipe was very good but the peeling took a little bit of time. I did find an easier ways to peel the chick peas. Cover the chickpeas in water with extra to spare about an inch or two. Then scooped up chickpeas and run them between your hands several times. The peels float to the top and the chickpea stay at the bottomed.

This hummus sounds really good! I love how you added the buffalo flavor to it to make it a healthier way to enjoy wing-type tastes!

Oh Lynn, will you and Matt adopt me? I don't take up (too) much room, I'm great at washing up, and I can quote nearly every episode of M*A*S*H* :)
I only need a few pounds of hummus everyday....
I cannot wait to make this. Hello putting cheese into hummus! BEST idea EVER! I need to try this whole shelling the chickpeas thing though, and now that I finally, finally, have a stick blender again (after 18 months) this delicious snackaliciousness is so close I can almost taste it.
Bring on the carrot sticks, the rice crackers, and heck, my biggest serving spoon! I'm going in!

Food spirit besties, really. Would you believe I didn't have a single s'more at the lake?! Instead, I had two GIANT roasted marshmallows. GIANT. Like... As big as my palm giant. No chocolate or graham crackers were available, so mallow night it was!

Lynn this looks SO GOOD! I'm a hummus fanatic, buffalo-anything fanatic, and a blue cheese madwoman as well (srsly, we are kindred food-spirits!!!) so this recipe is screaming my name! And I'm with you - it's totally worth the 20 minutes of shelling (peeling?) the chickpeas for a creamy, dreamy hummus. I'm on a lake house detox as well (I had 1 -- or 10 -- too many s'mores haha) and this fits the bill perfectly!!! Thanks for yet another PHENOMENAL recipe!!
