Hi, Tracey– yes, you can always use the fridge as a “pause” button during yeast bread making. Be sure it’s covered tightly and chill for no more than 18 hours. Allow it to come to room temperature while it does that second rise. Enjoy!

I made this bread about a month ago and it turned out fantastic. I actually used this recipe to make 3 mini loaves….they make great gifts. I wanted to print the recipe but I hadn’t saved it and it was lost! I’ve been searching for it for a month and I finally rediscovered it!!
I’ve now pinned it, screen shot it, copied it and placed it in two other files. I won’t lose it again

In reply to Julie Weyer. Hi, Julie-- I would only double this if I were doing it by hand, because this amount of dough might overwork a stand mixer. I'd definitely split it into two loaves. Let me know if you try it!

The Cinnamon Raisin Bread was delicious! I’ve made yeast bread before so I was familiar with the steps, but your instructions were perfect for anyone wanting to make it. I will definitely make this again!

I really liked this recipe even though I’m not the biggest fan of raisins; so that says how good it is! It’s sweet like a cinnamon roll, without all the extra sugar. I sliced it up and we’re going to use it in the morning for French toast, though everyone had to try a slice first while it was warm (and everyone approved!).
