made these a while back and forgot to leave a review- i used 1:1 gluten free flour but otherwise followed the directions. the key here is to under bake! As mentioned once they are no longer shiny, pull them! The first time i made them i set my timer and walked off and they were a little dry. delicious, but a little dry/ overbaked ( i remedied this by crumbling them and then warming in the microwave on low heat with a little chocolate sauce and then put then on top of ice cream) which was totally my fault . Second time, recently, i baked from frozen 325 for about 8- 10 min- at about halfway when they were starting to spread a bit, i pulled the pan and gently pressed more chocolate chips onto the top to help them spread a little as well. baked the last few minutes until they were matte on top, watch this closely! let sit on the pan until they set and then transfer. Hours later we ate them and they were PERFECT. I would probably do smaller chunks of oreos next time as well again to help spread. But overall these were really good, i love being able to make a batch and bake some, and then save the rest to bake later.

Hi, Danna-- I do think it would work well for that, as it's the same base I use for my chocolate cookie cake. I'd start the baking time around 16-18 minutes and go from there. Keep me posted!
