First time making thee waffles would it be ok to make them at night put them in the refrigerator over night and then crisp them in the oven in the morning? Thank you

I didn’t add the sugar, thinking I would just use maple syrup on top…. but then it needed A LOT of maple syrup haha. I probably should have just added the sugar. : /
