Hi, J.U.– you’re right, they’re chocolate cookies with chunks of cherries. So unless your cherries were flavorless, I’m not sure what to tell you.

Well I wanted to love these but it’s just a chocolate cookie with no cherry flavor at all. Won’t make them again

Delicious and unique cookies! I never leave reviews on baking websites, but these cookies are SO tasty! I think I will double the white chocolate chips next time as a personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe!

I’ve made this twice and am adding this to my repertoire! What a great recipe! The first time I used Amarena cherries and couldn’t wait for the dough to chill (still delicious but flat). The second time, I ran out of AP flour and used 1/2 AP and 1/2 bread flour…used chopped dried cherries….let it chill overnight. That’s how I will always make them now, because they were the tall chewy just crisp enough perfect cookie. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Hello there! What about dried cherries? How do you think that may affect the final cookie! I am not particularly a fan of marachino cherries and fresh are not in season at the moment.
