Hi, Jennie-- I am so glad you enjoyed these! Here's my recipe for mint chocolate chip donuts. You can leave out the mint extract and the chocolate chips (if you want). Enjoy!

Yum! I made these recently and they were excellent. I found the ratio of sprinkles in the donuts to be perfect. I took Lynn’s suggestion of doing half and half with vanilla and chocolate and was very pleased with that decision. They are easy to make too.

Hi! These look amazing! Do you think it would be ok to make these the night before? I'm thinking of making the donuts the night before and icing them in the morning to bring to a brunch with friends. Thanks!

Hey, Kel! I'm so glad you liked them and want to make them again! It's hard to say exactly how long I leave it on the heat... So I'll tell you exactly what I do. First of all, I used whole milk, which might make a little difference if you didn't. I put the milk in, then the vanilla, then the powdered sugar, and then turn the heat on. I whisk it around just until everything is combined and the sugar has smoothed out. Then I remove it. Maybe it's about 1-2 minutes? If you feel like your glaze was on longer than this, try shortening the time you're heating it. Let me know how round #2 works out!

Lynn these are awesome! I made them last weekend to try them and am planning on making them again this weekend for guests. I did have a problem with the glaze... it wasn't nearly as thick as yours looks like and didn't ever really harden on top. I'm guessing I just left it on the heat a tad too long - any idea how long you had yours heating?
