I have tried many almond flour recipes and many pecan sandy recipes, but this is the best one I have ever used. I follow it to the letter and it is delicious; I wouldn’t change a thing. My whole family loves these cookies and they don’t last long around the house. We ration them like gold.

These were very yummy! I was 1/2 cup short on the almond flour, so had to substitute some AP flour. The only other change I made was a sprinkle of sea salt on top, just like I do on chocolate chip cookies. These are not too sweet. They seemed a little crumbly, but stayed together when scooped and baked. We waited just until the 10 minute waiting time was up, to sample these! I will definitely make them again!

I searched for pecan flour recipes and somehow this one showed up. They look scrumptious so, of course, I have to make them now. Can pecan flour substitute for the finely chopped pecans? My pecan flour seems to be very similar to the consistency of the chopped pecans.

I loved pecan sandies as a kid, but I am eating healthier now. Does this recipe work if I were to substitute coconut oil for the butter? Some of my family members don’t eat dairy.
