I’ve been undergoing treatments for PCOS for 11 years, so this is definitely up my alley. Unfortunately for me, as someone who loves to bake, avoiding all sugar is pretty much the only way I can get around, but life can be pretty cruel that way! 🙂 I don’t even get to take one taste-test of many of the things I put on my blog, but my husband is always happy to tell me what works and what he never wants me to make again!

In reply to Amy. Thank you so much, Amy. I am very lucky that my doctors are quite optimistic for me/us, we just have to get things straightened out first. It's been a long and quite unexpected road, but knowing there are so many options, should we need to use them, makes it easier to keep up hope! Best wishes to your best friend, I will keep her in my thoughts :-)

I’m speechless! Thank you so much for your sweet write up! And especially thank you for sharing your story. My best friend has been living with a PCOS diagnosis for over 12 years now and she and her husband would be the best parents but unfortunately it’s going to be a hard road for them. There are so many other complications from this silent condition too. We need women to be aware of PCOS and take charge of their own health. Thanks to people like yourself and Anna we can raise awareness and understanding for women and couples who are going through this. I am glad that you are under such good care and have love and support too. Oh and you bake the most delicious treats too 🙂
