Happy almost end of 2015, my friends! This was my first full year of blogging, and holy moly, was it a great one! Not only did I bring you (usually) more than 1 recipe a week, but I also wrote you a cookbook and taught you all about puppy chow, you let me dedicate an entire month to my favorite things, and let me go cookie crazy on you by bringing you 12 Days of Christmas Cookies.

And also… You all have been so sweet in helping us celebrate the impending birth of our baby boy next summer. Thank you. We could not be more excited!

2016 is going to rock.

But before we get there, we have to revisit some of the best of FAF. Today I’ve rounded up the top 10 recipes of 2015, the recipes you all have visited, baked, tasted, shared, and enjoyed the most.

I thank you for your constant support and trusting me with your kitchen. I wouldn’t be able to do this all without you!

And just because you all loved it so much last year, tomorrow I’ll be bringing you the worst of FAF for this year. There are a ton. Some major doozies. Oh my gosh… I can’t even wait for you to see some of the disasters that occurred in my kitchen in 2015.

But for now… The best! In all their glory…

#10 Easy Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

I posted these cookies in March and their popularity skyrocketed in November and December. They are perfect for Christmas cookies, but they’re also great for Valentine’s Day, so tuck this one in your back pocket for February!

#9 Graham Cracker Toffee Bark

One of my most popular recipes in 2014 as well. Great for garnishing cookie trays and packaging up for homemade gifts!

#8 Cake Batter Puppy Chow

The puppy chow that started it all.

#7 Mini Cookies & Cream Cupcakes

I have to admit, these are a personal fav. How can you go wrong with cookies & cream?! And in itty bitty cupcake form? Dessert perfection.

#6 Cake Pops 101

A tutorial and “recipe!” Step-by-step instructions and photos. You can’t fail, I promise.

#5 Cake Batter Dip

A party in a bowl. Go ahead and dig in!

#4 Cheesy Vegetable Quiche with Cauliflower Crust

This was 2014’s #1 recipe, thanks to HuffPost. It’s still one of the most popular recipes on my blog, obviously, and in my own kitchen!

#3 Piña Colada Bars

Boozy bar desserts are perfect for parties!

#2 Crustless Caprese Quiche

Really? A mostly dessert blog with 2 quiche recipes in the top 10?? Well, I can’t blame you. Quiches are one of the easiest things you can make for basically any meal. This one was from January and quickly became popular thanks to Pinterest!

#1 Blueberry Lemon Pie Bars

Blueberry Lemon Pie Bars

This recipe… It is just… Oh my goodness. I get so many rave reviews on this recipe all the time. And as of the time of this post, it has been pinned almost 85k times on Pinterest. I plan to make some more desserts with this base, although I did have one slight fail this year (stay tuned for tomorrow…).

So, dear reader… Did your favorite make the list??

  1. I love this! I also did a best of 2015 post, but yours is way better….I haven’t tried any of those recipes so far, need to do some baking this weekend! I love sugar cookies and the puppy chow looks so cute. Oh, and I really need to try the cake batter dip. Do you think I could dip the sugar cookies into the cake batter dip? 😀 OR, I could dip the cake pops into it. Looks like it was a wonderful year for recipes! I can’t wait to see the worst of FAF, though! Happy New Year! 🙂

    1. I think that cookies dipped into cake batter dip sounds like an AMAZING idea. Literally everything sweet should be dipped in cake batter dip– it is SO SO GOOD. I’ll have to check out your best of post. I love revisiting the year! I always forget about some!
